北京世界公园位于北京市丰台区西南，距天安门广场16公里。占地面积46.7公顷，园内汇集50个国家119处人文自然景观。公园平面设计按五大洲版图设计，水路按四大洋版图设计。是集世界各国名胜古迹于一园、承载世界各民族文化为背景的大型主题公园。是亚洲大比例微缩主题公园之一。
世界公园1993年10月25日开园，开业15年来共接待中外游客共约2000余万人次，公园接待外国副总理级别的来宾共计55批次。党和国家领导人江泽民、李鹏、乔石、胡锦涛、李岚清等领导先后来园植树、视察，前国家主席江泽民为公园题写了园名。北京世界公园先后被评为国家AAAA级景区，北京市一级一类公园，北京十佳旅游景点，全国旅游系统先进单位，全国双拥模范单位等。
以“炫彩世界、相约奥运——环球民俗风”为主题的系列活动全年推出，内容包括前28届奥运会主办国、主题歌曲、吉祥物展示等，大型外国歌舞演出汇聚了俄罗斯、乌克兰、津巴布韦、韩国等十几个国家，盛大花车巡游、泰国大象鳄鱼表演、4D动感电影以及儿童游乐大世界使人领略浓缩的精华，一日游遍世界。
Beijing World Park is located at southwest of Fengtai District, Beijing, 16km away from Tian An Men Square and covering an area 46.7 hectares .The Park involves 119 cultural landscapes from 50 countries in the world. The Park’s planning view and water route are designed according to the domain of the five continents and the four oceans respectively. It is a large-sized and a theme-specified park integrating worldly famous scenic spots and historic sites and carrying cultures of nations in the world. It is one of the Asian’s great proportional miniature subject parks.
Beijing World Park was open to public on October 25th, 1993 , The park has already started doing business for 14 years and altogether received the Chinese and foreign tourists 20,000,000 people. The park also receives foreign vice-premier the level guest 55 raids. Parties and the national leaders Jiang Zemin, Li Peng's, Qiao Shi, Hu Jintao, Li Lanqing and so on all once came to the Beijing World Park to visit and to participate in the tree-planting activity. The name of the park was inscribed by Jiang Zemin, former President of the People’s Republic of China. Beijing World Park is rated as National AAAA-grade Scenic Area, Category 1 and Level 1 Park of Beijing, Top 10 Tourist Spots of Beijing, Advanced Unit in the Tourist System of China, National Double Supports Model Unit, etc.
The Beijing World Park will hold The Olympic Games series activity with the subject of Dazzling the Colorful World, Reaching Agreement Olympic Games in this year. This active content includes first 28 session of Olympic Games host country, subject song, mascot figure demonstration and so on had been conducted before. The Beijing World Park has conducted Olympic Games history culture
demonstration in the different scenic areas, lets the tourists only use day to be able to understand the Olympic Games history and the developing process.
